Ghost hunters based in Gloucestershire believe they may have captured a clear image of a shadow figure. The group, named “Paranormal Adventures UK”, was investigating an abandoned asylum in Ruthin, Wales.

The team claims that when the image was captured, nobody was in the room (aside from the photographer). They also said there was no glass or mirrors in the room. The group also stated that no light was shining behind the photographer.

Given that old, abandoned buildings such as this are believed to be rampant with supernatural entities, it’s very possible that this was indeed a spirit. The figure doesn’t look like someone’s shadow, nor does it looks like an optical illusion, matrixing effect, ect.

In my opinion, I think the photo looks pretty genuine. However, I still can’t say for sure if I’m 100% convinced quite yet. What do you think? Did this team of ghost hunters capture an image of a real shadow spirit? Or is there a conventional explanation for this eerie figure?
