“Young Blood: Evil Intentions” was just released to DVD. “Young Blood: Evil Intentions” is directed, written and produced by Mat Smith and Myron Smith.
The movie stars Autumn Ward, Zoë Cox, Rebecca Kidd, Myron Smith, Brett Smith, Cletus Earles, Robert Hobbs, and Rita J. Smith, Lloyd Kaufman (Troma Entertainment), Count Smokula, Butch Patrick (The Munsters). Sal “The Vampire Santa” Lizard, and Jamison Newlander (The Lost Boys) make special guest appearances in the movie.
Faces that many audience members may not have seen for a while include Butch Patrick, who is best known for his role as Eddie Munster on the CBS comedy television series The Munsters from 1964 to 1966, who plays the school principal; and Jamison Newlander, who is best known from his role as Alan Frog in the 1987 cult classic film The Lost Boys, who plays the mayor of the town.
Synopsis:
Raised in a torn home, one girl discovers she has the ability to make big changes, with even bigger consequences. Anavey (Autumn Ward), with the loyal help of her innocent little sister Anastasia (Zoë Cox), form an army of young blood thirsty vampires to kill all the adults. No one is safe, especially the unaware mother of the children, Olivia (Rebecca Kidd) and the abusive, over bearing father figure Dale Buckmeyer (Myron Smith). Will Anavey’s dreams become a reality? Will Anastasia escape the cult before it’s too late? Will the angry mob put an end to the insanity? “Young Blood: Evil Intentions” played at every theater in Martinsville, and later played in Winston-Salem, NC and Roanoke, VA. It was also an official selection at Fright Night Film Fest in Louisville, KY in 2013. The movie was released to DVD on October 5, 2013 and is available online at www.youngbloodmovie.com.
