The movie of Roberto D’Antona hits the theaters on 6th December. Online the new trailer.

Announced at the Italian Horror Show of Latina the release date of “The Wicked Gift”, the horror/thriller psychological film of the young italian director Roberto D’Antona that hits the theaters on 6th December. During the event – where even the actress and co-producer Annamaria Lorusso and the actor Michael Segal were present – the new trailer has been shown to the audience.

After the internatioonal success of the tv show “The Reaping” – purchasable online on Dvd and
BluRay – that has received numerous positive reviews from critics and wins at various festivals
around the world, D’Antona arrives in cinema with an ambitious project, co-produced and
distributed by Movie Planet Group.

The Wicked Gift well lends itself to a mainstream distribution, thanks to its photography and that it
was directed in a way similar to the typical International trend, very different from the Italian
classic horror movies.


Ethan is a young designer, shy and quiet who has suffered of insomnia for many years due to his
terrible nightmares. Since he can’t solve his problem not even with the help of the therapy, Ethan
convinces himself of having a personality disorder, but thanks to his best friend and to a Medium
he will face a long journey that will lead him to the conciousness that his nightmares conceal
something darker and far more sinister than he could ever imagine.


As the four main characters, Roberto D’Antona, Annamaria Lorusso, Francesco Emulo e Kateryna
Korchynska. In the cast, that comes from all over the indie internaࢢonal circuits, even Alice
Viganò, David White, Mirko D’Antona, Andrea Milan and Michael Segal.
