Cigarette Burns

Director: John Carpenter
Writers: Drew McWeeny & Scott Swan
Release Year: 2005
Genre: Horror

The is about a movie programmer Kirby Sweetman. Kirby is given the job to find the holy grail of horror cinema, “Le Fin Absolue du Monde,” for an eccentric collector who offers him a good amount of money that could solve his monetary problems. The movie, which means to the Absolute End of the World, transforms its audience into insane, murderous cannibals with a taste for brutal violence. As Kirby searches for clues and for the film’s only known copy, he ventures into the world of the macabre and horror.

Albert’s Review: “I found the story of this movie quite similar to 9th Gate , instead of a book the subject is a movie called “Le Fin Absolue du Monde”. A good movie but not a classic”
Rating: (5.5/10)

Nadia’s Review: “I did not like the plot, and the main character of the film finds the ‘original film of the story’ too easily.”
Rating: (5/10)
